Seva Work Exchange Program at Resonance

Seva is a Sanskrit word meaning selfless service. Stewardship is the practice of taking care of the earth.  A Seva Steward is in service to the well being of the whole. The goal of our Seva Work Exchange is to find work/life balance while integrating our inspirations.

  • Resonance is open to short (1 week) and long term (3-6 month) Work Exchangers in a myriad or roles.  

  • Some Seva Work Exchangers may have already developed comprehensive skill sets or are open to supporting in many diverse ways.

  • Looking for people with technical wizardry, graphic design, building, organizational skills, bodywork, playing and engaging younger generations, nurturing through food, design of all forms, accounting and business acumen, permaculture, hospitality and event management skills.

  • There will be a give back focus on working directly with the earth through growing food, planting trees, and assisting in projects and initiatives that are positively impacting the surrounding area (beach clean-ups and recycling).

What we’re looking for:

  • A minimum four to six week commitment for on-site exchange (up to a year).

    - Work exchangers can bank their hours ahead of time and just join us at some future date to relax and play.

  • Approximately 25 hours per week of work .

  • Open-minded, flexible individuals that are willing to learn and offer assistance where needed.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • A genuine desire to serve others and the planet.

  • Bilingual an asset (English/Spanish) but not required.
